By installing and using ClipShield, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.

License

ClipShield is provided for free during the beta period. All rights reserved by Papi Labs Ltd.

You are granted a license to:

• Use the extension for personal or commercial purposes
• Provide feedback to help improve the product

Commercial redistribution or modification is not permitted without written permission.

Trademark

"ClipShield" is a trademark of Papi Labs Ltd. Commercial use of the ClipShield name and branding requires permission. Contact: hello@guidekit.ai

Service Provision

ClipShield is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

What ClipShield Does

• Analyzes clipboard content for potentially sensitive information
• Provides warnings before sharing images containing sensitive content
• Operates 100% locally on your device

What ClipShield Does NOT Guarantee

• 100% accuracy in detecting all types of sensitive information
• Compatibility with all websites or future Chrome versions
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Detection of all possible data security risks

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have Chrome 138+ (or appropriate Chrome version) with required flags enabled
• Reviewing ClipShield's protection decisions before sharing information
• Understanding that automated detection may have false positives or false negatives
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

Limitation of Liability

You use ClipShield at your own risk. ClipShield is a tool to assist with privacy protection, but ultimate responsibility for data security remains with you.

No Warranty

ClipShield is provided without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The extension will meet your specific requirements
• The extension will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the extension will be corrected
• The extension will be compatible with all future Chrome updates

Disclaimer Regarding AI Detection

ClipShield uses Chrome's built-in AI (Gemini Nano) for detection. AI systems can make mistakes:

• False Positives: May flag non-sensitive content as sensitive
• False Negatives: May miss some sensitive content
• Context Limitations: May not understand all contexts

Always review protection decisions yourself.

Privacy

Your privacy is important. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ClipShield handles data.

Third-Party Services

ClipShield uses no third-party services. All processing happens via Chrome's built-in AI on your device.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Termination

You may stop using ClipShield at any time by uninstalling the extension. We reserve the right to discontinue the extension or modify its functionality at any time.

ClipShield is provided as-is with no guaranteed support. However, we welcome:

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Papi Labs Ltd. regarding ClipShield.
